Guide to parking in Ultimo

Whether you’re popping into class or checking out some of Sydney’s favourite foodie spots, street parking is virutualy impossible and off-street parking can get very expensive.

On-street parking

If you’re lucky enough to find yourself a spot on the street, parking rates are reasonable if you only need to stay for up to 2 hours. The City of Sydney has a map of the pricing of parking meters (see here.)

Off-street parking

The main car park in the area is Interpark, located on Thomas Street in Ultimo. Casual rates on weekdays are as below:

0-1 hour – $16.00

0-3 hours – $22.00

3+ hours – $30.00

Catch a train into Central station and walk into Ultimo. The walk can take anywhere between 7 to 15 minutes. Alternatively, various bus routes are available, depending on where you’re coming in from.
