Randwick parking information

Parking in Randwick is becoming increasingly scarce. With the build of the light rail, most streets with parking are either blocked or dug up. If you are heading into the area or even Kingsford and Kensington, we recommend planning your parking in advance.

On-street parking
Metered parking near UNSW is $7.50 per hour and have 2 or 4 hour time limits.
Off-street parking
UNSW and hospital staff can apply for parking permits at on-site car parks, however these permits are often limited. Share with Oscar has plenty of parking spaces available within a 5 min walk from the university, hospitals and racecourse from just $2/hour or $10/day (book book).
Monthly parking in Randwick

You may prefer to lock in a permanent parking spot and save yourself the trouble of having to think about parking every day. Arranging monthly parking (whether it’s 24/7, just Monday to Friday, or for a few days a week) is also something Share with Oscar can help with. Monthly parking is also generally cheaper than booking daily as you are locking yourself in for the month.

Share with Oscar now also offers monthly parking across Sydney CBD. If you’re looking for a secure and undercover space with unlimited parking access to your spot, then you’re in the right place!

Free parking
On-campus parking at UNSW is free after 7:30pm (Monday to Friday) and on weekends or public holidays. Alternatively, limited free street parking is available with 2 hour to 4 hour time limits or if you are willing to park more than a 10 minute walk away.
Public transport
Driving is the easiest way to get to Randwick, however if driving is not an option, public transport is available. If you are heading to the UNSW, you can catch the 891, 893 or 898 bus to campus from Central station. The wait in the bus line might take anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure you budget this additional time into your journey.
