Where to park in Moore Park
Parking around Moore Park and the Entertainment Quarter becomes especially difficult when there is a game or event held at Allianz Stadium or the SCG. Tens of thousands of people flock there on weekends.
On-street parking
Free street parking is available on Cook Road, Moore Park with a 2 hour time limit. However, often street parking is often taken up by locals with parking permits so you might find it becomes difficult to find an on street parking space.
Off-street parking
If you’re visiting the entertainment quarter for a meal or a day out with the family, there is the Entertainment Quarter Car park, which offers free parking for the first 2 hours, or up to $30 for a day. Rates are as below.
- 0-2 hours – free
- 2-3 hours – $10
- 3-4 hours – $12
- 4-5 hours – $16
- 5-6 hours – $20
- 6+ hours – $30
- Evening flat rate (after 6pm) – $7
However, if there is an event, which is often the case on the weekends, especially during football season, event parking rates are turned on for $25 flat rate regardless of how many hours you are parked.

Free parking
Parking inside Centennial Park is free, but are often full on weekends. The parking spaces close to the major gates are also free but have a 3 hour time limit.
On-street parking around the perimeter is free, however have 2 hour time limits and parking rangers are often out and about in the area.
Public transport
There are a number of buses that you can catch from Central Station on Eddy Avenue that go towards Moore Park via Anzac Parade. Click here to see more information.The bus ride is approximately 20 minutes.
The Lightrail also stops at Anzac Pde and Cook Rd
Disabled parking
Disabled parking is available at the Entertainment Quarter Parking lot on the ground floor.
Event parking
Event parking is available for $25 at the Entertainment Quarter Car park however expect delays getting in and out of the car park. Visitors can expect to wait up to an hour when exiting the car park after an event.
Centennial Parklands also opens up the lawn for event parking, but expect big delays along Anzac Pde getting in and out of the car park.
Sydney Boys and Sydney Girls high school open up their grounds for event parking when there is a game or concert on at Allianz Stadium or the SCG for $25 in cash.
